THE ROAD TO RECOVERY CONTINUES
Just Say Mo tshirts! So happy to be out of the hospital and ready to begin the recovery process!
September 30, 2012 I walked 3-miles at the American Liver Foundation’s Liver Life Walk. My family and I rocked out our Just Say Mo tshirts!

Because of all of my immunosuppression medication and my recent medical history, my doctor’s always called me “special.” “Special” people who can get sick easily have to cover up like this when travelling.
In September 2012 my friends held a huge charity event for me called “Dough for Mo” were they have raised over $34,000 to help with my transplant expenses!

In September 2012 I got to travel to Greenville, SC to see some of my best friends!
Still struggling with thinning hair and prednisone induced acne and “chipmunk cheeks” but it is getting better!

A reason to walk….
At the ING Hartford Marathon I saw a cutout of Ellen. I consider this a “sign” that I will one day be on the Ellen show sharing my story, no pun intended 🙂
My sister Desiree ran her first full marathon at the ING Hartford Marathon and I ran the 5K (well I meant to run the 5K even though I ended up on the half marathon for a bit by accident). Support Donate Life!
Exercise and working out was crucial to my amazing recovery.
With my PT Karen Constantine. She was a miracle worker for me after my transplant. This was my 4th 5k since transplant in 33:49.
